Nursery and Reception had some special visitors – our parents! They came to join in with our learning in phonics. Our parents and teachers were very impressed and proud of our fantastic behaviour and the progress we have made in our phonics and reading learning. Thank you to the parents that came and joined us.
Year 1 have been learning all about maps! We have plotted and placed symbols on a map of the local area and created a key to describe the symbols. This term Year 6 are researching the ancient Maya civilisation. So far we have developed the skills of chronology and analysing historical sources while improving our collaboration and resilience as we research the civilisation in groups. We’re looking forward to starting to research Maya artefacts next week!
