In June we had the pleasure of taking 8 pupils to represent West Ham United at a national football tournament. Our children got the opportunity to play against schools from all over the United Kingdom including Burnley, Aston Villa and Newcastle. They got to walk out of the tunnel and into a stadium crowd, go into Brentford changing room, see the premier league trophy cup and not to mention the biggest of all, play on a premier league ground. Playing on a premier league ground is a dream for so many, not just kids but adults too and as a school we gave our pupils that opportunity at the tender age of 10. I’m certain this is a memory that will last a lifetime for our pupils. I hope we can continue to strive for excellence in sport and continue to benefit from these experiences.
