We are currently part of Newham’s scheme to provide free school meals to all Primary Pupils at Newham Schools.
There is currently no charge for children’s school dinners at Gallions Primary School. However, it is essential that all parents who meet the national criteria for free school meals, register for free school meals.
You can apply for Free School Meals online, via Newham Council website. Alternatively, you can come in to school and we can help you fill out the form.
Healthy food is important to us at Gallions. Children are encouraged to eat a healthy diet and to exercise regularly.
Children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 are offered free fruit or vegetables as a snack daily.
We ask that parents who provide a packed lunch for their children ensure that packed lunches are healthy with no fizzy drinks or nuts. Please click on the link to view our school menu.
